People often ask how we came up with the name TruthTeller and our jester logo. Family lore said the origin of our last name translates into “village idiot.” We were later told the translation is actually closer to “jester” – the one who speaks truth through humor. We believe in balancing truth and pleasure.

Our truth? We reject the idea that wine is only for a select few. When people tell us they don’t know very much about wine, we say all you need are functioning taste buds to tell you what you need to know. Wine shouldn’t be a mystery, but an accessible pleasure. The truth of a wine is between you and the wine.
