Olive Oils, Sushi, Foodie Tours and a Splash Pad 

There are several new businesses to try plus a fun place to cool off the next time you Visit Walla Walla.


Located at 10 E. Main Street, D'Olivio specializes in the highest quality, award-winning extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, sea salts, and unique spices and rubs found nowhere else in Eastern Washington. 

When you visit D'Olivo, you are treated to a tasting experience of all the olive oils, vinegars, and spices in the store.  A perfect way to customize the flavors you desire in your kitchen.

D'Olivo is open daily from 10-7pm.

Shiki Hibachi Sushi
Located at 220 E. Main Street, this new addition to downtown has recently opened.  Brandon from Walla Walla wrote on their Facebook page that he has "tried almost the whole menu, and it's all so fresh and well prepared."  Another comment stated "great food and service."

Shiki is open Mon-Thurs 11-9:30pm, Fri 11-10:30pm, Sat 12:30-10:30pm and Sun 12:30-8:30pm.  

Embark on an entertaining 2.5 hour guided culinary walking tour through historic and charming downtown Walla Walla. You'll enjoy a variety of food and drink samples at local restaurants, while immersing into the city's rich history and culture. All food tastings are included in the ticket price. For most people it is equal to a full meal, and gives participants an easy way to explore the area's dining and entertainment options. 

Tours are on Friday and Saturday, starting at 11:30am, ending at 2:00pm.

Washington Park Splash Pad

Walla Walla has a new splash pad located at Washington Park, just off the corner of 9th & Cherry Streets.  Also known as a spray park, it is a zero-depth water playground that allows families to play, learn and cool off in the summer heat.  A project funded by multiple Walla Walla organizations, it is a great new addition to Walla Walla.

Tourism Walla Walla understands that there may be folks interested in coming to Walla Walla for the Gentlemen of the Road concert and they are not interested in camping and have been unable to find hotel/lodging space.  If you fall into this category, don't despair!  We have a couple of suggestions where lodging is still available...

Pendleton Oregon, is an easy 45 minute drive, South of Walla Walla.   Click here to check for available hotel rooms.

Tri-Cities Washington (Richland, Pasco, Kennewick), is also a short 45 minute drive, West of Walla Walla.  Click here to check for available hotel rooms.

Downtown Ambassadors

Welcome Matthew and Kevin              


There are two new additions to downtown Walla Walla, our new Downtown Ambassadors.  They are easily spotted in their bright orange t-shirts, Tuesday-Saturday 12-8pm.  Although they are not employees of Tourism Walla Walla, they are available to answer questions or point you in the right direction.  Next time you are visiting Walla Walla, be sure to say hello. 


Matt was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA. He graduated from Walla Walla High School in 2013. He attends Washington State University and expects to graduate in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. Aside from going to school, he works security with the WSU Police Department. His goal is to go into Law Enforcement.






Kevin is also a Walla Walla native.  He graduated from Walla Walla High School in 2011. He attended Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) on a baseball scholarship and received his AA in the spring of 2013. After WWCC, Kevin moved to Billings Montana to attend Montana State University.  He is studying Criminal Justice along with Sociology and playing baseball for the Yellow Jackets. He expects to graduate in the spring of 2016 after his senior year of baseball has ended.  His goal is to go into Law Enforcement.

4th of July in the Park

A family friendly event with live entertainment, art, food, and various vendors. Fireworks at dark at the Walla Walla Community College.

YMCA - Peach Basket Classic
August 1 & 2

One of the Northwest's largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament played on the streets of downtown Walla Walla.

Walla Walla Food Truck Night is the first Monday of the month from April to October, 5pm to 9pm, 15 food trucks, 4 wineries, 1 brewery.

Walla Walla's first annual Mud Run Fundraiser.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Rising Sun Clubhouse.

Annual two day classic car event in downtown Walla Walla.  Friday night is the Classic Cruise & BBQ, Saturday is the Show & Shine where nearly 400 classic cars and motorcycles are on display.  A street dance caps off this family friendly event.
