| Woodward Canyon was established in 1981.
The winery has consistently produced
premium, award-winning ripe and toasty
cabernet sauvignons and merlots as well
as barrel-fermented chardonnays. From
the outset, winemaker Rick Small
determined that quality would take
precedence over quantity. Consequently,
Woodward Canyon has remained small,
increasing production from 1,200 cases
in 1981 to 15,000 cases in 2002.
Woodward Canyon's tasting room is a
restored 1870's farmhouse. |
